The Prime Minister will make

the pledge to secure a deal covering goods and services in her latest major Brexit speech today. But even as she put the finishing touches to her text, top EU politicians were saying she should be seeking a far
less ambitious trade deal

“based on the foundation of 

realism”, given her refusal to compromise on key issues. 
Last night, there was still disagreement in her Cabinet
on whether her speech should include a “commitment”,  forcing the UK to align with some EU rules in the future.
